๐Ÿ  Make Skworm your default search & home page

Pick your browser. Each takes about a minute, and you can switch back any time.

  1. Do one search here on Skworm first (so Chrome learns about it).
  2. Open Chrome's โ‹ฎ menu โ†’ Settings โ†’ Search engine โ†’ Manage search engines and site search.
  3. Find Skworm in the list, click its โ‹ฎ and choose Make default.
    Not listed? Click Add next to "Site search": name Skworm, shortcut skworm.us, URL https://skworm.us/search?q=%s. Then make it default.
  4. Home page: Settings โ†’ On start-up โ†’ Open a specific page โ†’ add https://skworm.us.
  1. Do one search here on Skworm first.
  2. Open โ‹ฏ โ†’ Settings โ†’ Privacy, search, and services โ†’ Address bar and search โ†’ Manage search engines.
  3. Find Skworm (or click Add: name Skworm, shortcut skworm.us, URL https://skworm.us/search?q=%s), click its โ‹ฏ and choose Make default.
  4. Home page: Settings โ†’ Start, home, and new tabs โ†’ "When Edge starts" โ†’ Open these pages โ†’ add https://skworm.us.
  1. Right-click the address bar while you're on Skworm and choose Add "Skworm".
    Or click the address bar and pick the Skworm icon with a + at the bottom of the list.
  2. Open โ˜ฐ โ†’ Settings โ†’ Search and set Default Search Engine to Skworm.
  3. Home page: Settings โ†’ Home โ†’ Homepage and new windows โ†’ Custom URLs โ†’ https://skworm.us.
  1. Apple only lets Safari's search bar use Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo or Ecosia, so make Skworm your home page or a Home Screen icon instead.
  2. iPhone / iPad: tap Share (square with an arrow) โ†’ Add to Home Screen โ†’ Add. Skworm gets its own worm icon.
  3. Mac: Safari โ†’ Settings โ†’ General โ†’ set Homepage to https://skworm.us, and "New windows open with" to Homepage.
  1. Do one search here on Skworm first.
  2. In Chrome, tap โ‹ฎ โ†’ Settings โ†’ Search engine, and pick skworm.us under "Recently visited".
  3. For a Home Screen icon: tap โ‹ฎ โ†’ Add to Home screen.
